I’m a South African-born, D.C.-raised, Pittsburgh-based journalist with a rabid curiosity for the way the world unfolds and the government forces that make it so.

My work is sourced from county contracts, Right to Know requests and bus stop conversations. I’ve covered the kids in jail, marijuana legalization, Fetterman on election eve and a tangled narrative of two families’ loss to the opioid epidemic. I’ve covered a lot more in between.

As junior majoring in politics and writing at the University of Pittsburgh, my education in journalism is built on internships and freelance work. Later down the line, I’ll report on big government and corruption with the human narratives always at the forfront. Otherwise, find me reading dated pulp or planning my next backpacking trip.
